I've always loved sketching castles. The fascination began with a white stucco and tile home with a tower in my childhood neighborhood that we dubbed “The Castle.” Later, my day job as a travel agent gave me a passport of brochures from around the world (Neuschwanstein in Germany was a favorite), but this painting is actually inspired by Squire’s Castle in Ohio.
20” x 16” acrylic, gouache, ink
All originals are painted using the highest quality media on ARCHES Watercolor Paper. This fine art paper is archival (acid free/pH neutral/100% cotton fibers), 300LB Hot Press.
To purchase this work framed, for licensing information, or for fine art prints please contact me at kkbambeck@gmail.com
Fun note: Pieces I've produced these past several years have a green tree frog in each... Can you find “Mr. Frog”?
