Winter Adirondack

Using my favorite color, the red chairs and poinsettia take center stage in the foreground of this painting. They contract abruptly with the stream winding toward the setting sun. I wanted to include as many birds as possible in a cozy forest setting. So I used a challenging yet fun artistic perspective. See Mr. Frog hanging in there?

20” x 16” acrylic, gouache, ink

All originals are painted using the highest quality media on ARCHES Watercolor Paper. This fine art paper is archival (acid free/pH neutral/100% cotton fibers), 300LB Hot Press.
